ABOUT ME

During Covid, I photographed families through Cookeville Front Porch Steps Project. Families donated their fees to local charities or small businesses. Each photo was a story in how families lived during the Covid isolation. It allowed us all a little out and about living, keeping six feet apart, of course.

A photo tells a story. Sometimes it’s a big moment in someone’s story. Sometimes it’s an everyday ordinary moment in a story. I’ve captured intense moments of players on our local high school soccer field and celebration moments from graduation to baptisms to weddings. Maybe you are in the middle of raising children and want to capture the magic, the mayhem, the adventure of it all. Maybe you are starting your career or entering a new job position and need professional head shots. Maybe you want some just-because photos. It’s all part of the story. Let me help you tell it.

Feel awkward on camera? No problem. I come prepared to photo shoots with poses, props and prompts, but I can also take the exact photo you’ve envisioned. Some of the best photographs happen in between the posing, though, or in a conversational exchange with others around you.

I live in Cookeville. When I’m not taking photos, I’m either writing, baking or am out and about with my grandkiddos, my husband, and my golden retriever, Georgie.
